Seller & auction policy
Rules & regulations
Clear standards for listing, bidding, postage, and live shows on Paksz. Sell fair, ship what you listed, and treat the other side like a collector you will meet at a show.
Last updated 17 Oct 2026 · Paksz community marketplace
1. Who can sell & bid
You need a Paksz member account with a real, reachable email.
Market sellers must finish Stripe payout setup before a listing goes live.
Sellers must be able to post the item from the location they list under Ships from.
One person, one account for buying and selling. Sockpuppet or shill accounts to bid up your own lots are banned.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must supervise auctions and payments.
2. Listing standards
Every Market sell listing and every auction must include a clear description, enough item details to identify the card or product, and complete postage & handling. Vague “DM for info” listings are not allowed.
Title — name the card or product, set or product line, and notable finish.
Item details — set, number, language, finish, grade/cert if slabbed, sealed contents when relevant.
Description — honest condition notes. Photos or written notes must match what ships.
Condition — pick the closest band. Do not list Heavily Played as Near Mint.
Only list items you own and can ship. Counterfeits and undisclosed alters are forbidden.
3. Postage & handling
State postage & handling cost, method, handling days (0–30), and ships from on every listing.
Ship within the handling window after payment clears. Message the buyer before the window ends if you will miss it.
Use tracked post for higher-value singles and sealed when practical; say when you will not.
Combined postage on multiple wins is encouraged — spell it out in postage notes.
International buyers: say who pays duties and whether you ship abroad.
4. Timed auctions
Bids are binding. Complete payment promptly with the seller if you win.
Sellers may not bid on their own lots (including through friends or second accounts).
Do not end an auction early to take an off-platform offer after bids are in, unless every bidder agrees on Paksz.
Buy-now, when offered, must honour the same item and postage terms.
5. Live auctions & shows
Live Paksz shows follow the same honesty bar as timed listings.
Show the item on camera before bidding starts when the lot is in hand.
State starting price, postage, and what is included before you take bids.
No “mystery” pulls sold as a specific chase card without clear odds language.
Keep chat civil. Hosts must mute harassment; buyers must not spam false reports.
If the stream drops, pause sales. Do not award lots while you cannot see bids or the item.
6. Prohibited items & conduct
Stolen goods, phishing, or payment redirection scams.
Hate speech, threats, doxxing, or false Name & Shame posts — stick to verifiable deal facts.
Fee avoidance by moving a Paksz-started deal entirely off-site after a bid is won to dodge agreed terms.
Spam listings or keyword stuffing unrelated to the item.
7. Payments & fees
Market checkout uses Stripe in test mode while Paksz is launching; the fee shown at list time (currently 5%) is the fee that applies.
Auction and live trades may settle off-platform — still honour the listed postage and item.
Sellers must not add junk fees after the sale that were not in the listing.
Buyers must not reverse a legitimate payment after receiving the correct item as described.
8. Disputes & reporting
First message the other party with photos, tracking, and what you expected from the listing.
